A.R.T. Update course: focus on iCOS 6-7 June 2016

Aim

Genera is proud to announce the organization of a two days A.R.T. Update course: focus on iCOS. This course is aimed at providing clinicians, embryologist and basic scientists an opportunity to focus and discuss some of the most attractive advances in the field of ART. This course offers an innovative format integrating lectures and clinical cases presentation with a real experience visiting Labs and Operating rooms in the IVF Unit. Interactive “open discussion” moments will be most welcome to give the possibility to exchange views.

Learning objectives

By attending this course, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize the crucial steps in the correct management of an infertile couple
  • Analyze the organization of an IVF Unit
  • Understand the importance of a personalized controlled ovarian stimulation and the new approaches available
  • Evaluate the role of the modern Laboratory technologies to improve embryo evaluation and selection
  • Recognize factors that can influence the success in ART

Target audience

The course is dedicated to expert gynecologists and embryologists in the field of ART.  There are limited number of seats available.

Day I

Morning

  • Clinical work-up: Overview on clinical state of ART. Strategies to improve efficiency in IVF treatment
  • Laboratory technologies: Overview of the modern IVF Lab: Lab technologies needed to maximize success
  • Interactive discussion

Afternoon

  • Parallel sessions (participants will be splitted in 4 groups and will alternate) among the GENERA center tour (IVF unit: operating theatre and embryo Lab) and Clinical cases sessions

Morning

  • Parallel sessions (participants will be splitted in 4 groups and will alternate) among the GENERA center tour (IVF unit: operating theatre and embryo Lab) and Clinical cases sessions

Afternoon

  • Tailoring ovarian stimulation
  • Interactive discussion and concluding remarks.
