Personalized treatments for the most accurate patients’ care

First consultation reservation and patient acceptance

The access to the services is achieved through the reservation of the consultation through an operator of the acceptance desk. The facility pays particular attention to the comfort that the couple needs in this phase. A receptionist is at the exclusive disposal to assist the couple during the therapeutic path. This figure is associated with the professional nurse who is in charge of patient acceptance and pre- and post-operative care.

First consultation and diagnostic framework

The first consultation consists in a first assessment of the couple by our experts in reproductive pathophysiology and the prescription of preliminary examinations for the treatment.

Each specific case is evaluated according to the personal history of the couple, to the diagnostic tests and any IVF treatments previously carried out .  Haematochemical, genetic, virological and instrumental tests will be prescribed to complete the diagnostic process and personalize the diagnostic-therapeutic path. During the first consultation, a pelvic ultrasound will be performed to assess the patient’s uterus, appendages and ovarian reserve.

On this occasion, the couple will be provided with an identification code (ID) to be properly identified (the ID will be also necessary to consult patient’s reports sent by email).

Definition of the therapeutic approach

When the couple has completed the required examinations, the most suitable therapeutic approach (IUI/IVF/ICSI) can be defined.

During this consultation, the physician explains to the couple the most appropriate IVF procedures to adopt according to the specific case, the success rates and any risks associated with the treatment; listen to the needs and expectations of the couple in order to be able to choose a shared approach; discuss the informed consensus and prescribe the medications necessary for treatment.
